For dessert I had an apple dumpling which was pretty good and a second cup of coffee. The hot bacon dressing here is to die for delicious! The baked haddock was also very good. ![]() When I finished my first plate of food I then went and made myself a spinach salad with red onion and topped with hot bacon dressing and also took a piece of baked haddock. My friend found one of her favorites, grilled shrimp and said it was delicious. I filled a cup with decaf coffee and went back to the table. I also took a ham ball, stuffed pepper, and green beans on my first plate of food. My friend and I both tried the roast beef and mashed potatoes & gravy which was delicious. We decided to walk from one end of the very long line of buffet tables to get an idea of what was available. The table numbers are easy to see which is good because the place is huge. We were seated quickly by a very nice hostess. This time, no lines, probably because it was around 1:30 PM. That time I didn’t feel like waiting outside in the heat. hot day and there were lines around the building to get in. I had been here previously on a very, very. We figured since we couldn’t check in to our hotel until 3-4 PM maybe doing a late lunch would be a good idea. My find and I stopped here for lunch on arriving in Lancaster County.
